Wrestling Figures Tips
The Good Old days of Wrestling
Figures
I have few friend that love wrestling. They like to gather in
front of the tv and watch a good "show" of wrestling. I tried to
sit down with them and watch the whole thing but it didn't grab me
for the same reasons. They only thing I have found interesting
was the different characters fighting each others. Some were
actually very funny. So whacha gonna do Brother! This is probably
the most famous catch phrase to ever hit the pro wrestling circuit.
I don't think any of us can forget the massive Hulk Hogan and his
crazy yellow and red outfits. The guy used to rip his shirt off
every time he entered the ring. Nonetheless, he was the hero. The
righteous brute that wrestled for the good guys and defeated evil
on a regular basis. Or at least this is how we saw the wrestling
legend back in the 1980s. I was in elementary school back then, and
every boy I knew loved the Hulkster. They would show up day after
day with their wrestling
figures in-hand and a smile on their faces. So
where does that leave pro wrestling now?
If you've ever taken the time to watch a WWF, WCW or WWE
wrestling match, then you've certainly seen the impact it can have
on a crowd. There are the "good guys" and the "bad guys." Which you
choose to root for is totally your decision. Generally they're each
given some sort of theme or can we say identity? The Undertaker is
a perfect example. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what this
fellow stands for. Now, my big question concerns the fame of pro
wrestling in this new era. I don't know about you, but I'm not
seeing too many kids with wrestlingfigures anymore. Maybe,
just maybe, the pro wrestling craze is beginning to go down hill.
Or at least for the younger crowd. Personally, I think it has a lot
to do with the wrestlers themselves.
Hulk Hogan and The Wrestling
Figures
After growing up with the greatest pro wrestler of all time on
the television and in our video games, it's difficult to love the
sport without him. Hulk Hogan was it! This guy's the epitome of a
pro wrestler. He took it to the max every time he stepped into the
ring, and his charisma stirred the crowd like no other. He was to
me like the Maurice Richard of wrestling. This is hard to come
by nowadays. Children don't want to play with wrestlingfigures they can't look up to. The whole
point is living vicariously through your toy.
No offense to the pro wrestling fanatics out there, but I doubt
the wrestling game will ever be what it used to be. In all honesty,
I think it hit its peak with the Hulkster. But, at least you can
still pick up a few retro wrestling figures online to add to your
collection. I wonder if eBay has few wrestlin gfigures. As
a matter of fact I will go check right away. See Ya!
