Bear Archery
What You Should Know About Bear
Archery
The air is still and fresh. There is no sound but my steady
respiration. I stepped softly and stealth-like across the
dew-glistening green grass. My intentions were clear as I gripped
my long bow in my left hand and very quietly pulled an arrow from
my quiver. I knocked the arrow with confidence and drew the string.
The air whistled with a fury as my field point blew into a big
fat bear that was actually a... bale of hay. Yes indeed, you
better beware, I was Robin Hood in the making.
Well, except for the whole bag of riches to give to the poor,
the group of merry men and frankly being very far from
"Nothingham". Actually and sadly also without Maid Marian as
well. Okay, I was just a kid pretending, but it was still great to
picture and imagine such things. Any kid can tell you the routine.
Now, are you an archer enthusiast like I am? Are you into
bear archery? Hey,
this is nothing to hide but something to be proud of! Shooting a
quality bow is an experience like no other. And if you're a child,
Bear archery is the
way to go.
Bear Archery And Types of
Bows
When it comes to bows, you have a great deal to pick and choose
from nowadays. Only you can decide between a recurve, compound or a
long bow. All are great designs, but typically we each prefer one
over the others. I stand apart from my archery friends because
I like the long bow. Although it's not Bear archery equipment, it's
amazing nonetheless. You see, when I hit the age of twenty, I
decided to have a long bow custom made. I turned to a pro by the
name of Doug Duncan. He crafted a wonderful piece just for me.
Would you believe I still shoot the very same bow, 13 years later.
Now that's quality work on his part. However, when you get into
custom bows, things can get a little bit pricey. This is why you
may want to begin with Beararchery equipment. Bear offers
a wonderful selection of bows and supplies that are worth your
while. These are particularly good bows for young archers.
Currently I am looking into Bear archery bows for
my seven year old daughter. She has just acquired an interest in
shooting with me. This is something a father dreams of. I can't
wait to get her first bow.
There are few other things you may want to keep in mind when
buying a bow is the quality, draw length and poundage. Of course
you want a quality product, which can be found in Beararchery
equipment. Secondly, you need a bow and sting that match your
draw. The length of your arms is important here. And finally, if
you don't know what pounds you can handle, you need to shop where
you can test draw the bows and find out. It is advisable to talk to
professionals for those answers. Get the right bow for you and you
will enjoy bear
archery for many years, get the wrong bow and you
will quit.
